Neil Buchanan

Neil Buchanan ( born October 11, 1961 in Aintree, Merseyside, England ) is a British television personality, painter and former rock musician. He became known in Germany mainly because of his regular appearances in the craft show Art Attack, which he presented in the English version itself.

Life

Neil Buchanan was born on 11 October 1961 in Aintree near Liverpool. He applied to the Liverpool Art College, which he had to leave due to lack of talent. Later, Buchanan attended the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys, now known as the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

Buchanan was from 1976 until the early '80s guitarist of heavy metal band Marseille, which emerged from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

His television career began with the moderation of some programs and shows of British television. When his greatest success, however, applies the craft show Art Attack, which he hosted from 1990 to 2007. He had also always appeared in the German version of Art Attack, in which he created giant works of art among the DIY tips from the materials of its respective environment.

Neil Buchanan is married since 1989 and has two children, Molly and Freddie.
