Nelly's Folly

Nelly 's Folly is an American animated short film directed by Chuck Jones from 1961.

Action

The giraffes Dame Nelly lives in Africa and is a passionate singer. She sings to the animals of the jungle and even surpasses the birds with their singing. One day, she is discovered by a Safariereisenden and committed. She goes to America where she makes her singing for full houses.

Nelly but feels lonely with time and gets lost one day in a zoo, where she meets a giraffe man. Although this has a partner, Nelly flirting with him and it comes to a relationship war that is expatiated especially in the tabloids. Nelly's star decreases due to her private life and soon no spectators come to their appearances more. Your manager she drops and so Nelly returns to Africa, where she sings sad songs, until one day think of a giraffe man in her singing. Nelly and he are a couple and the giraffe is finally happy.

Nelly 's Folly came on December 30, 1961 as part of the Merrie Melodies Theatrical Cartoon Series in the cinemas. In the film, different pieces of music or songs are heard:
