Nelson (Lancashire)

Nelson ( Lancashire ) is a small town in Lancashire in the North West of England. It is the administrative seat of the district of Pendle and has 29,000 inhabitants. Nelson is located about 45 km north of Manchester.

The town was founded by the merger of the villages Little Marsden and Great Marsden.

The football club Nelson F. C. is located in Nelson, playing at Victoria Park.
