Népszabadság

Népszabadság (literally " People's Freedom " ), known colloquially as Népszabi, is the largest circulation national daily newspaper in Hungary. It was founded in 1956 and is of the Népszabadság Zrt. edited.

The blade usually has a circumference of about 24 pages (in color), on Saturday, it appears with 12 additional newspaper supplement ( hétvége ). Népszabadság reports on politics, economy, culture and media, sport and technology, has its own correspondents in Europe and also in some world cities overseas.

Before the turn Népszabadság was considered the voice of the State party; Today, the blade is independent and non-partisan, but in general supports the socialist and liberal parties and is therefore the right-wing Fidesz Civic Union away. Is majority-owned (as of early 2014 ), the Swiss media company Ringier, minority owner of the MSZP.
