Nero (son of Germanicus)

Nero Julius Caesar Germanicus (* 6; † 31) was a Roman patrician family of the Julii.

Nero Caesar was the oldest son of Germanicus and Agrippina the elder and thus great-grandson of Augustus and grandson of the elder Drusus. Nero was, as yet, adopted his father before him by his great-uncle Tiberius 23 after his own son Drusus the Younger had died, and was considered the first successor candidate. He was with Julia Livia, daughter of Tiberius ' son Drusus and the Livilla married. Nero Caesar was 27 detained together with his mother for conspiracy against Tiberius, allegedly at the instigation of Sejanus, and two years later banished to the island Pandateria where you either forced him to commit suicide, or starved.
