Written records for Neuchâtel white wine existed from the first time in the year 998, as Rudolph of Burgundy gave the abbey of Bevaix Burgundian vineyards. Both Neuchâtel and Saint -Blaise, Cressier and Le Landeron have their own AOC wines.
The dry white wines get along particularly well with freshwater fish from the lake, as well as cheese, fruits or meats, the red Pinot Noir wines contrast with red meat, game, poultry or lamb.
