Neudorf-Weimershof

Neudorf- Weimershof is a district in the northeast of Luxembourg. In 2001, the district had 2,924 inhabitants.

The district is bounded by two major roads running almost exactly south- north-east direction. The northern of the two is the John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the southern is called Neudorf. To the east runs - somewhat remote location in the forest - Highway 1, which marks its end at the northern end of the district with a wide arc to the motorway exit " Neudorf ".

Along the John Fitzgerald Kennedy in the so-called " Quartier du Grünewald " are mainly office buildings, on the opposite side of the road is already outside of the Neudorf Luxembourg fairgrounds. Otherwise, the area is rather kleingliedrig built with multi-family and single-family homes in the southern part also. In the Quartier du Grünewald there is also a large hospital complex, quite the southwest corner of the private school " Sainte -Sophie ". In the east, near the motorway is in the countryside, the " Stade Henri Funk" as well as to the municipal cemetery.
