Geography

Neugattersleben is located northwest of Bernburg (Saale ) in Bode near Magdeburg.

History

Neugattersleben was first mentioned in 1164. The history is closely linked with the castle Neugattersleben.

Due to a change in the contract area, the municipal council of the municipality Neugattersleben decided on 26 August 2008 that the municipality Neugattersleben is incorporated into the city Nienburg ( Saale). This agreement was approved by the county as a lower municipal supervisory authority and entered into force on 1 January 2010.

After incorporation of the previously independent community Neugattersleben is Neugattersleben district of the city Nienburg ( Saale). For powered finished my community the village constitution according to § § 86 et seq of the Municipal Code of Saxony- Anhalt is introduced. The municipality is my finished Neugattersleben and future district Neugattersleben is the village of the host city Nienburg ( Saale). In the eingemeindeten community and nunmehrigen village Neugattersleben a Ortschaftsrat is formed with seven members including a mayor.

Directly by the district Neugatterslebens the federal highway 71 from Bernburg (Saale ) extends to Magdeburg. The Federal Highway 14, which runs from Halle ( Saale) Magdeburg runs, west of Neugattersleben. The Neugattersleben station was on the railway line Berlin- Blankenheim ( " Kanonenbahn "), which is now closed.
