NGC 1672

NGC 1672 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation swordfish, which is about 60 million light -years away from Earth. NGC 1672 has a brightness of 9.7 mag and an angular extent of 6.8 '× 4.8 ' arc minutes; the galaxy was discovered on November 5, 1826 by the Scottish astronomer James Dunlop.
