NGC 2298

NGC 2298 is a globular cluster in the constellation Puppis and has an angular extent of 6 ', 8 and an apparent magnitude of 9.35 mag. The core radius is 16 ", 3, the surface brightness 18.7 mag/arcsec2. The star cluster was discovered on May 8, 1826 by James Dunlop.
