NGC 2537

NGC 2537, also known as bear's paw (English Bear Paw ) is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Lynx, which is about 26 million light -years away from Earth. Nearby there is another galaxy, NGC 2537A for which the number has been assigned.

NGC 2537 was discovered on February 6, 1788 by the German - British astronomer William Herschel.
