Arp 274 or NGC 5679 is a group of three galaxies in the constellation Virgo. It is not entirely clear whether the galaxies interact with each other or whether they are located at different distances and just happened to be on the same line of sight. Suggest rather to the latter, the absence of typical gravitationally interacting systems deformations as well as measurements of the radial velocity.

The object was discovered on May 12, 1793 by William Herschel.
