NGC 6729

NGC 6729 is a Variable Nebula (a kind of reflection nebulae ) in the constellation Corona Australis. The fog reflects the PMS star R Coronae Australis (R CrA ) emitted light. NGC 6729 has a triangular shape, which is reminiscent of NGC 2261.

The nebula was discovered by Johann Friedrich Julius Schmidt in 1861.
