Nicholas III, Duke of Opava

Nicholas III. of Opava (. czech Mikuláš III Opavský; * to 1339, † July 9, 1394 ) was 1367-1377 Duke of Opava and 1377-1394 Duke of Leobschutz.

Life

Nicholas II of Opava Opava came from a branch of the Bohemian Přemyslids. His parents were Nicholas II of Opava and his third wife Jutta ( † after 1378 ), daughter of Duke Boleslaw II of Falkenberg.

After the death of his father in 1365 managed Nicholas III. and his three brothers inherited possessions first together. In the division in 1367 Nicholas received III. and his younger brothers and I.
