Nicholas Jonas is the debut album of American singer and actor Nick Jonas. It was released in 2004 and 2005 at INO Records (USA), or Columbia Records (Europe).

Background and publication

Nick Jonas, who began his career in the musical, wrote the song Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer ) in 2002 along with his father, while Beauty and the Beast starred in the musical. This then appeared on the album, Broadway's Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, Vol 4, which supported the Equity Fights AIDS Action. In November 2003, INO Records received the record label a demo recording of the song and released it to radio stations where the song was very successful especially in religious broadcasters. So you were aware in September 2004 on Columbia Records on the then twelve -year-old singer and decided to take this along with INO Records.

On 30 October 2004 then came the debut single by Nick Jonas, Dear God. On November 16, they released a second song of the album, Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer ). Both songs were placed not in the charts. The complete debut album was then available in December 2004 or January 2005. An exact date has not been located since the CD was released only limited. Many of the songs of his debut album, wrote Nick Jonas with his brothers Joe and Kevin.

Some of the songs of this album were later re-recorded by the Jonas Brothers and published on their albums. The band formed in 2005 Nick Jonas and his brothers Kevin and Joe. The songs Time for Me to Fly and Dear God appeared on the band's debut album, It's About Time. The title Please Be Mine was also published on a modified track list on the debut album. When You Look Me in the Eyes can be found on the second album the group Jonas Brothers. On the numerous tours they played this and other songs of the album live as well. With his band Nick Jonas & The Administration Nick Jonas played the songs on their tours, but in slightly different versions.
