Jonas Brothers is the name of the second studio album by the band of the same name. It was published on 7 August 2007 at the Hollywood Records label and reached number five in the American Billboard charts. On 30 October 2007 the so-called Bonus Jonas Edition of the album was released in the U.S. on 13 June 2008 they released the standard version in Europe.

Background and facts

The album was released almost exactly a year after the band's debut album, It's About Time. In February 2007, the brothers had signed their first record deal with Hollywood Records, it was their first album release under the new label. Here, the song Year 3000 was the only thing the label distribution rights of the former record company of the group, Columbia Records got. A special feature is the so-called CDVU technology of the album, which is similar to an Enhanced CD. Publication and Promotion

Singles

Year 3000

Year 3000 was the first single of the album and was released on March 12, 2007. The song reached # 31 in the USA. Overall, the song that represented the first publication of the group under the label of Hollywood Records could, however, had been already used for the debut album of the brothers, keep seven weeks on the charts. Hold On
