Nick Easter

Nicholas James Easter ( born August 15, 1978 in Epsom ) is an English rugby union player. He plays as a number eight or winger for the English national team and the Harlequins.

Easter spent a year in South Africa, before he began his professional career at Orrell RUFC in 2001. In August 2004 he moved to the Harlequins. There he was named the Player of the Year in 2005 and 2006. In February 2007, he first played for the England Saxons, the reserve of the actual team. A few months later, he was already in the squad for England's Weltmneisterschaft. In this tournament, he has been used six times in the starting lineup and was one of the key players in the finals of the English, who had to admit defeat to South Africa. Ahead of the World Cup were him against Wales four attempts succeeded in creating a performance that had previously unmatched by any other player at his position.

Due to an injury he fell from the start of the Six Nations 2008, but played in the further course of the tournament once again a major role. In the match against France, he was elected man of the match. He came in all four games of the November tests used and secured as a place in the squad for the Six Nations 2009, where he was in all parts to the starting lineup.
