Nicole Courcel

Nicole Courcel; native Nicole Marie- Anne Andrieux (born 21 October 1931 in Saint-Cloud, Ile -de -France ) is a French actress.

Life

Nicole Courcel visited the Cours Simon drama school and received at the age of 16 years, her first small film role. 1949 Jacques Becker gave her the female lead in the time Portrait youth of today. Then she played in many films of the 1950s, cute, lovely girl in French family comedies.

In 1959 she played unsynchronized as a piano playing French neighbor on the side of Heinz Rühmann in the film comedy A man walks through the wall. Thereafter, it was predominantly occupied as a loving wife and mother.

Courcel shifted the focus of her work on the theater. Particularly successful she was in Arthur Miller's The Crucible. She also appeared in television series and published in 1980 her book Julie tempête.
