The Niebüll (DB) railway station was built in 1887 and is the largest railway station of the city Niebüll. It is led by Deutsche Bahn today in the train station category 3 and has a bilingual signs ( German: Niebüll, Frisian: Naibel ).

Importance

The railway station is a railway node. It combines the Marschbahn Westerland -Hamburg with the neg - route to Dagebüll, which serves not only for public transport to Fohr and Amrum strong leisure traffic with coaches. In addition, the reactivated by a private provider of cross-border Marschbahn section is traversed in the Danish Tonder from Niebüll station since 2001. The visible image on the main platform was used until 1981 for the customs clearance of to / from Denmark moving trains.

From 1906, the water tower is north of the reception building. Having already had planned to demolish this tower, craftsmen have started a project to rescue and restore the form here from their offspring, who wants the state restore historic half-timbered construction.
