The Niesehorn is a 2'776 m high mountain in the Bernese Alps near Lauenen. The Niesehorn represents a kind of pre-peak of the Wildhorn ( 3,247 m above sea level. M. ) Represents the Niesehorn is the home mountain of Wildhornhütte and this easily scalable along the southern ridge, also a ski tour.

The mountain is pretty inconspicuous and neither developed nor attractive to tourists because it completely disappears in the much higher three thousand. The Niesehorn located far from densely populated areas removed, the steering is 15 kilometers away, Lauenen 20 km away. Near the Niesehorn is the Tungelpass.

The Niesehorn is not to be confused with the sneezing ( sports resort with 2'368 m above sea level. M. ), which is located at the entrance of the Simmental.
