Nieuwer Ter Aa

Nieuwer Ter Aa is a Dutch village in the municipality Stichtse Vecht, province of Utrecht, and lies on the small river de Aa. After this " Nieuwer Ter Aa " and " Oud Aa " named. Breukelen has a floor area of 4,865 hectares and a population number of 10,506, of which 746 inhabitants in Nieuwer Ter Aa (as of 1 January 2010). Much evidence suggests that Nieuwer Ter Aa has been around for 1,000 years. The late Gothic village church from the 15th century (picture ) stands on the site of an earlier Romanesque church; in the walls of brick their tuffs are processed as volumes. Before 1964, the village belonged to the former municipalities Ruwiel and Loenersloot after it until 2011 was one of Breukelen.

Nieuwer Ter Aa is located near the Amsterdam - Rhine canal. The hamlet " Oud- Aa " and " Oukoop " are to the place.
