Nightfall (band)
Nightfall is an existing from 1991 to 2006 and since 2010, Greek melodic death metal band. During their creation time, the band produced a total of seven studio albums, four EPs / Singles and a demo cassette. In the early years, their music was more attributable to the Gothic Metal, but has evolved over the years into Melodic Death Metal.
History
Nightfall was founded in 1991 by Efthimis Karadimas. In the same year the demo Vanity was recorded and released. In 1992 the debut album Parade into Centuries at the French label Holy Records so was Nightfall his own words, the first Greek band that released an album with a foreign label. 2005 left drummer George Kollias Nightfall and joined the American technical death metal band Nile on. Nightfall was the first Greek band to perform at the Wacken Open Air Metal Festival in Germany in August 2001.
