Nihon-shiki romanization

The Nippon system (Japanese日本式, Nippon - shiki ) is a transcription system for the Japanese font. It was introduced as the Hepburn system modified version to eliminate some logical weaknesses of this system in 1885 by the naturalist Tanakadate Aikitsu (田中 馆 爱 橘). The system partially some letters highlighted in (s, t, d, h, z) phonetic values ​​that arise from the structure of the Japanese sound system, but they have nowhere else.

It serves as a template the officially preferred Kunrei system (ISO 3602) and is also known as ISO 3602 Strict.
