Nik Gowing

Nik Gowing Keith ( born 1951 ) is a British television journalist. He is the longest-serving presenter on BBC World News, the 24 -hour TV news and information channel BBC. Nik Gowing comes from Wales.

Previously, he was a foreign policy expert presenter at ITN in 1978, followed by Nik Gowing Diplomatic Editor for the flagship Channel 4 News in 1989.

In February 1996, Gowing was appointed as anchorman for the 24 -hour program of the BBC World News. Since then, he mainly presents The World Today until today, to Europe Direct, HARDtalk, Dateline London, The Hub, and Simpson -World.
