Inter-religious dialogue

According Brantschen there is no alternative to interreligious dialogue, which term not only designates the call, but also the positive, constructive relationships between individuals and communities of other religions to the mutual enrichment. To be religious today hot to be inter- religious, not only bilaterally but multilaterally.

Position to Buddhism

Brantschen feels dialogue with Buddhism as enriching, not straight or completed way between East and West, resulting in the tension between real Zen experience and follow Christ. He sees a similarity (parallelism of the frame) between Ignatian Spiritual Exercises and Zen practice that has over the years with him to a synthesis.

In Zen practice, he sees a way to break down barriers between religions, nations and races - to becoming one humanity.

Partnership of man and woman

For Brantschen the partnership is an important contribution to a necessary planetary shift in consciousness. Really new is created only when man and woman a culture of partnership, equality maintain. For him, humanity is like a bird with two wings like husband and wife. When a wing is not developed equal, we have an oblique bird does not come from the spot.

Insights

For Brantschen is characteristic that he combines his insights into concise sentences.

  • Only someone who is selfless, is really happy.
  • He who loves his spiritual experiences and they want to conserve, destroyed and built their way to the new.
  • Man is not what he "does"; he is not what he " has "; he is not what he "is"; he is what he loves.
  • Ethics, which we believe is grounded in mindful perception of life in all its forms, in the wise judgments and in appropriate, sustainable action for the benefit of all. This is not possible without the full experience of self and world, without a deeper view of reality.
