Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Nikolaj Coster -Waldau ( born July 27, 1970 in Rudkøbing, Denmark ) is a Danish actor.
Life and career
His training as an actor, he graduated in 1993 at the Statens Teaterskole. A year later he was starring in the film Nightwatch - Nightwatch overnight in his home country to stardom. The thriller, which became a surprise hit in Denmark, was made into a film in 1997 starring in Hollywood again by director Ole Bornedal with Ewan McGregor. Build on the success of Nightwatch - Nightwatch could Coster -Waldau with Simon Stahos Vild spor and Jesper W. Nielsen's drama The Bouncer, for which he received one nomination for the prestigious Danish Film Award for Best Actor Robert. Since 1998, Coster -Waldau is married to the Greenlandic artist Nukaka Motzfeldt, with whom he has two daughters.
