Nikolaos Andriakopoulos

Nikolaos Andriakopoulos (* 1878 in Patra, † unknown) was a Greek gymnast.

Andriakopoulos participated in the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games in 1896 partly in his native Greece. In rope climbing, he was next to his compatriot Thomas Xenakis the only one who beat the 14 -meter high rope. With a prime time ( 23.4 seconds ), he won the competition and became Olympic champion. This gold medal was the last Greek in gymnastics up to the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

He also started the team competition on bars. There Andriakopoulos was part of the team of Panellinios Athens and won with this team the silver medal.
