Nikolay Bogolyubov (actor)

Nikolai Ivanovich Bogolyubov (Russian Николай Иванович Боголюбов; * 10 Oktoberjul / October 22 1899greg in the village Ivanovskoe, Ryazan province, .. † March 9, 1980 in Moscow) was a Soviet actor.

Life and work

Bogolyubov completed his acting training at the dramatic theater of Ryazan, came in 1920 to his military service in the Red Army and returned to his military service to Ryazan, where he worked as a stage actor at the local theater. In 1922 he went to Moscow, where he was a year later a member of an experimental theater group to Vsevolod Meyerhold was. On Vsevolod Meyerhold, Theatre, he enjoyed great stage successes, debuted in 1931 in the film where he played mainly proletarian characters and historical figures.

In 1938 he came to the Moscow Art Theater, whose venue he served for over 20 years. Bogolyubov was repeatedly honored with the National Award for his theater and film work.
