Nikolay Pankratov

Nikolai Vladimirovich Pankratov (Russian Николай Владимирович Панкратов; born December 23, 1982 in Sverdlovsk ) is a Russian cross-country skiers.

Nikolai Pankratov won the bronze medal in the relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf. Two years later he was able to win at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo, together with Vasily Rotschew, Alexander Legkow and Yevgeny Dementiev the silver medal in the relay. To kick off the World Championships he was, however, occupied by the World Ski Federation FIS with a five-day lock-protected due to excessive hemoglobin. Once in September 2010 Pankratov at the Austrian- Swiss border 22 ampoules of calf blood preparation Actovegin and other doping tools were discovered, the Russian Ski Association RSA imposed in January 2011 a two-year doping ban against him.
