Nikolay Tsukanov

Nikolai Nikolayevich Zukanow ( born March 22, 1965 in Lipowo ( Kaliningrad Oblast ), Russian SFSR, Soviet Union ) is a Russian politician.

Nikolai Zukanow finished 1999 a law degree at the School of Privatization and Entrepreneurship in Moscow and in 2002 to study at the State Technical Tupolev University in Kazan from. He has the degree of candidate of psychology.

Zukanow worked for several years as a lawyer in the private sector until he was elected political leader of Rajon Gusev 2005. Since 2009 he is Chairman of the " Council of Municipalities of the Kaliningrad Oblast " and since 2010 Chairman of the Kaliningrad Oblastorganisation the United Russia party.

Was appointed as the successor of Georgy Boos in the Office of the Governor of the Kaliningrad Oblast Nikolai Zukanow by the then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on August 23, 2010. A week later he was confirmed by the local Duma and officially inaugurated on 28 September 2010.

Criticism

In July 2011, enrolled 1,200 Kaliningrad an open letter to the then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. They lamented the increasing nepotism in the administration area, since Nikolai Zukanow has become Kaliningrad Governor and demanded the dismissal of the entire territory government.

Family

Zukanow Nikolai has an older brother named Andrei.

Zukanow is married for the second time since 2010. He has a son from his first marriage: Juri (* 1987).
