Nikon GP-1
The Nikon GP-1 is a GPS - receiver from Nikon to capture the geographical position (longitude and latitude) in NMEA format which are then stored in the EXIF data of the image. The ability to determine the direction of the camera attitude is not used. The Niko own software ViewNX offers the opportunity to evaluate data directly by map.

The receiver has 18 SBAS compatible receiver channels. The reception time when switching on of up to 45 seconds. The update rate is once per second. GPS accuracy is horizontally 10m RMS. The operating temperature is between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. The weight is 24 g
Status
An LED indicates the status of the system.
- Flashing red - GPS data will not be included
- Blinking green - it could be detected 3 satellites and GPS data are recorded
- Green - it could be three or more satellites detected and GPS data are recorded accurately
