Nikos Katsavakis

Nikos Katsavakis (Greek Νίκος Κατσαβάκης, born May 16, 1979 in Serres, Greece) is a Greek football player. The defender is since 2004 the Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta under contract.

Katsavakis began his career in 1996 when unterklassigen Veria FC and, after one season to AO Kavala. Between 2000 and 2002 he played for Panserraikos in the second Greek League and then moved to the Cypriot first division Digenis Akritas Morphou. In 2004, he joined the Cypriot top club and league rivals Anorthosis Famagusta, with whom he won the national championship in 2005, 2008 and 2007, won the Cypriot Cup.

With Famagusta itself Katsavakis 2008 qualified for the main round of the UEFA Champions League. He came in all six qualifying matches against FC Pjunik, Rapid Wien and Olympiakos Piraeus for use.
