Nikos Nioplias

Nikolaos " Nikos " Nioplias (Greek Νικόλαος Νιόπλιας, born January 17, 1965 in Galatini, Greece) is a Greek football coach and former player.

Playing career

Nioplias began his professional career in 1982 at OFI Crete. With OFI midfielder won the 1987 Greek Cup before joining Panathinaikos Athens 1993. With Panathinaikos Nioplias experienced its most successful athletic phase. Apart from two Greek Championships (1995, 1996) and three cup victories (1993, 1994, 1995 ) he made with his team in the 1995/1996 season for stir when Panathinaikos made ​​it to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
