The station Nishi- Ogikubo (Japanese西 荻 洼 駅, Nishi- Ogikubo -eki ) is located in the district of Suginami in Tokyo, Japan. It was opened as one of the westernmost stations of the Chūō - sobu Line and the Chūō Main Line. These two lines represent two of the most important arterial roads in the Greater Tokyo dar.

History

The station was opened on 15 July 1922. It was from its opening on until privatization in 1987 in state hands. Since it is part of Chūō Main Line, there is a direct connection to Tokyo Station.
