Njeru

Location of Njeru within Uganda

Njeru is a town in central Uganda with 61 975 inhabitants. It is located in Mukono district at the outflow of the Victoria Nile from Lake Victoria. On the other bank of the river lies the city of Jinja.

There are highway connections to Kampala, Kayunga and Jinja to Iganga. In addition, the place has connection to the Uganda Railway, which continues from Mombasa on the Indian Ocean Coming to Kampala.
