NK Brotnjo

NK Brotnjo Čitluk ( Nogometni club Brotnjo Čitluk ) is a football club from Čitluk, a town in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nogometni club means " club ", Brotnjo is name of a Bosnian-Herzegovinian landscape.

History

NK Brotnjo plays for the 2012/13 season in the third-class Druga Liga FBiH, the second- highest division of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Play their home games, the club from the 7000 -seater stadium Bare. The biggest success was winning the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Cup in season 1999/2000. The following year Brotnjo participated in the qualification for the UEFA Champions League in part 2000/ 01, but failed in the first round to FBK Kaunas ( Lithuania). Also in the UEFA Cup 2001/ 02 ( against Viking Stavanger ) and the UEFA Intertoto Cup 2002 ( against FC Zurich ), the club failed in each case in the first qualifying round.
