The source of the nuns brook in the forest about 2 km to the east of Schmidtheim, beyond the B 51 and not far from already partially filled with groundwater gravel pits. It flows past the same place and flows well 2 km south of Blankenheim in the Ahr. Except on the silk and the Günzelbach he is fed during his short run also on numerous soaps.
