Noorder-Koggenland

Noorder - Koggenland ( listen? / I ) was a town in West Friesland, in the Dutch province of North Holland.

The municipality was created on 1 January 1979 by the merger of the municipalities Abbekerk, Midwoud, Opperdoes, Sijbekarspel and Twisk and the district Hauwert the previous community Nibbixwoud. Since 1 January 2007, the community belongs to along with Wognum the new municipality of Medemblik.
