Nora Radcliffe

Nora Radcliffe ( born March 4, 1946 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish politician and member of the Liberal Democrats. Radcliffe attended the High School for Girls in Aberdeen and then studied at the University of Aberdeen. In 1988 she made ​​her first appearance in politically when she was elected to the Regional Council of the Gordon region. This Radcliffe was a member until 1992. Later they also appeared to be elections for regional councils of the Grampian and Aberdeenshire, however, did not receive the required majority vote.

Scottish Parliament

In the first Scottish Parliament elections in 1999 Radcliffe ran in the constituency Gordon. She won the direct mandate before the candidate SNP and moved into the newly created Scottish Parliament. In the following parliamentary elections in May 2003, she was able to expand their share of the vote and defended their direct mandate before the Conservative Nanette Milne.
