The Norbury Lake Provincial Park is a 97 hectare Provincial Park in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It lies about 30 km east of Cranbrook in the Regional District of East Kootenay. The park is located a bit off the highway and is from Fort Steele, on Highway 93 or Highway 95 or from Wardner, the Crowsnest Highway (Highway 3) to achieve.

Plant

The small park and simply furnished park is rectangular in shape and is separated from a road diagonally into two parts. In the south of the street part of the Norbury Lake and the camping area is located. In the north of the road there is a picnic area, and the Packham 's Lake. In the park is a protected area category IV ( Managed Resource Protected Area ).

History

The park was established in 1958 and takes its name after the nearby lake in the park. Named after the lake was a respected citizen of F. Paget Norbury had his residence here in the and Magistrate in nearby Fort Steele.

Flora and Fauna
