The Northrend is a 4'609 m above sea level. M. In addition to high peaks of the Dufour peak in the Monte Rosa massif and is situated on the border between Italy and Switzerland. It was first climbed on 26 August 1861. The Northrend is tackled most of Zermatt ago, or from Station Rotenboden the Gornergrat Railway over the Monte Rosa Hut. The normal route leads from the Silver Saddle ( 4'515 m above sea level. M. ) via the south ridge to the summit.
