Nordthüringgau
The Nordthüringgau was a medieval Gaugrafschaft in present-day Saxony- Anhalt. He stretched north from the Bode and west of the Elbe both sides of the Aller river. The county was part of the Askanische native land, the Altmark, later going on in the Mark Brandenburg. In his story, he fell apart at times in two, three and even four parts. These were added to various counts.
