Norma Croker

Norma Croker Fleming ( born September 11, 1934 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia ) is a former Australian track and field athlete and Olympic champion.

In 1956 she took over 220 yards at the Australian Championships in fourth place over 100 yards and third place. Croker won the sixth place about 100 yards and about 220 yards in third place at the Australian Championships in 1960. In the long jump, she won the bronze medal in the 4 x 110- yard relay team in fourth place.

In the XVI. Summer Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 she reached the fourth place in the 200 -meter run and the team gold medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay, together with teammates Shirley Strickland, Fleur Mellor and Betty Cuthbert, before the team from Great Britain ( silver) and the team from the USA ( bronze). In the XVII. Summer Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, she was disqualified in the same discipline and reached 15th place in the long jump
