North–South Prize
The North- South Prize (also: Lisbon North - South Prize ) is an award every year since 1995 the price of Europe. It is awarded for the jury determines that extraordinary achievements in the field of human rights, democracy and diplomacy between North and South - in particular between Europe and Africa.
The jury for the prize consists of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and members of the North-South Centre together ( an autonomous organization of Europe in Lisbon).
