North Vietnam national football team
The North Vietnamese national football team was the national football team of North Vietnam. It existed from 1956 to 1966 and completed in this time very few matches, mainly against other communist states such as North Korea and the People's Republic of China. In 1975 it was merged with the selection of South Vietnam to the Vietnamese national football team.
Their first international match in 1956 graduated from North Vietnam against the People's Republic of China, which was lost with 3:5. The first victory was recorded in 1960 with a 3-1 win against Mongolia the national team. The last international match in 1966 graduated from North Vietnam against North Yemen.
North Vietnam was not party to the qualification for the Asian Cup still to the World Cup.
