Norwegian Ninja ( Norwegian Original Title: Kommandør Treholt & ninjatroppen ) is a Norwegian film from 2010, directed the action comedy, Thomas Cappelen Malling, the main role was played by Mads Ousdal. .

Action

The film tells the fictional story of a Ninja unit of the Norwegian Army, whose leader is the real existing spy Arne Treholt. King Olav V is Treholt friendly ties and visited the ninjas regularly at their headquarters on an island in the Oslo fjord.

Opponent of the ninjas is Stay Behind, a special unit of the CIA, which is responsible for several terrorist attacks in Europe. Then the Communists be held responsible for bringing the "stupid people" to choose the "right party" for these attacks.

The young ninja Hummel is the favorite pupil of Treholt. Early in the film indicated that it has a particular role in the plans of Ninja unit. Shortly before the start of a special operation Humla is appointed to a full-fledged ninja.

Otto Meyer, the leader of Stay Behind is planning a series of attacks. First, a rig is blown up. Preventing this is not possible the ninjas because Hummel can not defuse the bomb in time. The second attack is directed against the headquarters of the ninjas. Meyer wants his opponent Treholt bring himself to leave the country. At the airport, he should be arrested and tried by means of forged evidence to twenty years in prison.

Hummel was seriously injured in this second attack. Treholt brings him Fornebu, dressed him and gives him a letter issued in his name ticket, with the Hummel to get to safety. Since he is considered Treholt he is arrested.

Now Treholt can act undisturbed, as his opponents think you have it turned off. So he can stop the third planned by Meyer, which was directed against the Norwegian king, prevent and Stay Behind smashed.

The film came in Norwegian cinemas on August 13, 2010. He also was shown at several film festivals. These include the norske movie festivalen 2010, the New Horizons 2011, the Fantasy Film Fest 2011 and other festivals in Europe, North America and Asia.

On 12 January 2011 the film in Norway was released on DVD and Blu- ray Disc.
