Nothingface

Nothingface was an American alternative metal band, in 1995 in Washington DC was founded.

Band History

After publishing some demos on their own from 1994, 1997 and 1998, the albums Pacifier and An Audio Guide to Everyday Atrovity on the independent label DCide followed. After formation of a contract with the major label TVT Records Nothingface were able to achieve success in a broader audience with the release of the album Violence in 2000. Following this, the band experienced some lineup changes before the album Skeletons was also brought out at TVT Records in 2003. Nothingface went over the years with many different bands on tour, so they played among other things, live with or opening for groups like Anthrax, Helmet, Ministry, Pantera, Sepultura and System of a Down, and took part at the famous rock and metal festival Ozzfest. In 2009 published Nothingface the 1995 self- released album Nothingface in a revised version again.

Style

Nothingface combined in their music elements of different genres together, for example in Metal, Hard Rock, punk rock and hardcore punk and grunge. The variety of the band is to be classified as alternative metal due to these various influences.
