Notter (Unstrut)

The Notter in grains.

The Viper is a 20 km long, left-side tributary of the Unstrut. It rises about 380 m above sea level. NN on the limestone plateau in the heart angle at Pöthen as well as intermittent sources in lowlands in the southeast of Muehlhaeuser Hardt.

Course

Economic History

Also from the Schaftal, an elongated Trockentalzug on the southern edge of the Volkenrodaer forest, Notter is fed on some days the water. It opens at the western edge of Schlotheim by a ditch on the right side in the Notter.
