Nouri Abusahmain

Nuri Busahmein (Arabic نوري أبو سهمين, DMG Nuri Abū Sahmain ) is a Libyan politician of Berber origin, and as Speaker of the General National Congress, the transitional head of state.

The politically independent, but the al - Wafa block related Nuri Busahmein was elected on Tuesday, 25 June 2013, 96 out of 184 votes of the National Congress president this current top legislative body. As the successor to interim head Giuma Attaiga it is Busahmeins most important task to lead the country to new elections.
