Nova Santa Rita is a town with 22 177 inhabitants in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. It is located about 20 km north of Porto Alegre. Adjacent are the places Canoas, Capela de Santana, Montenegro, Triunfo, Esteio Portão Viamão, Sapucaia do Sul. Originally Nova Santa Rita was part of Munizips Canoas.
